The BackBlast:
Conditions:
This morning was a perfect morning to Smoke some shoulders @ PCH and get a nice 1-mile walk in. Rainy-ish steamy morning in the low 70’s. Perfect weather for the PAX to bond and hang out!
Warmup:
Quick disclaimer –
Mosey across the beautifully manicured soccer pitch at PCH, the one that had signs posted – Field Closed, to review the RX Beat Down instructions for the day. Then Mosey back across the pitch to begin, and reset instructions to the PAX
The Thang:
YHC decided to incorporate an O-Line (American Football, Offensive Lineman, you know, the big nasty guys up front that never get to score a touchdown, or get their picture in the paper) type Q for the PAX. The PAX is getting better with adding mileage to the workouts, therefore causing the ‘Clydesdale Types’ to get better. One might say the PAX is missing out on the beautiful opportunity to get down and dirty and move heavy things from one place to another.
Prescribed – 10 laps total. (1 Lap equals a trip across and back the soccer pitch from side-line to side-line. (Distance for 1 lap = .1 (YHC confirmed distance with his smart watch thingy).

Naked Moleskin:
Today was a grind. Walking a mile while Riffle carrying Cindy has a tendency to challenge one’s mental commitment, especially about Lap 6-10. As with all things PAX related, we all encourage each other to compete against oneself. Today was a grind, the PAX showed up. Accepted the challenge and pushed forward. Always a pleasure to spend time with the PAX in the gloom (excluding those dang running Q’s – absolutely unnecessary).
