With the news last week that the French duo Daft Punk was calling it quits after 28 years, YHC thought a tribute beatdown in order.  So four pax rolled up on the Hill with perfect conditions – clear, dry, low 40s – and Got Lucky.

    • One More Time – side straddle hops for the duration of the song, do “one more” burpee every “one more time”

    • Around the World (filed under “Daft Punk” in the Exicon) – 12 part lunges in every direction (right foot fwd/right/back, left foot back/left/fwd) for the duration of the song

    • Get Lucky – Al Gore for the duration of the song, do Merkin on every “get lucky”
      • This one was tricksy – there’s a heavily autotuned repeating “up all night to get lucky” late in the song that was a crowdpleaser.

  • Harder Better Faster Stronger – field trip to Mt. Bulgogi
      • Bear Crawl up, Crawl Bear back down the hill for the duration of the song

DAFT PUNK

From Mount Bulgogi, the pax slowly traveled back to the flag between exercises via lunges, reverse lunges, bear crawl, high knees, and buttkickers.
