YHC arrived early to The Pound to cover some ground and think deeply about the preparation needed for the Super Bowl tomorrow. Every team puts in hundreds of hours of training each year and its only right for us to get a taste of it for 1 hour. Let’s dive in!

 

Warm Up

WR Speed

2 Groups

3 Rounds: 1 person sprints ~ 50 yds while other pax practice their catching

Jump Squats, Overhead Press, Front Raises

Merkins

Squats

O-Line Strength

3 x 20

Sumo Squats IC

Merkins OYO

Lunges IC

D-Line Agility in 2 Groups

3 rounds of 4 corner shuffle drill

Shuffle right, sprint up, shuffle left, back pedal to start (5 times per round)

Short mosey between rounds

 

Circle up for up downs

Each pax had their chance to call Up, Down, Left, Right, etc

 

Mosey to THE HILL

5 x Hill Sprints (All football players must know how to drive their feet into the ground)

Mosey back to flag

Finish with 20 Merkins OYO to complete 100
